RHI has held an annual event since 1984. The Sociable City Summit series began in 2015 in Los Angeles. Over the years, the program focus expanded to the Four Building Blocks of a Sociable City. Since 2015, more than 1,100 people from 11 countries, 48 states and provinces and 215 cities attended one or more summits.
